So easy to use!

I just set up the WordPress Email Marketing Plugin for my small business, and wow, it was a breeze! The drag and drop editor is fantastic. I'm definitely going to recommend weMail to my friends and can't wait to buy more from them!

Consistently good service

This was my third time purchasing from weMail, grabbing another annual plan for a new client site. Like always, the process was smooth and the license key landed in my inbox within a minute. Their integration with WordPress is super reliable, which is why I keep coming back for my email solution needs. It's just a solid platform that delivers every time.

Detailed experience with weMail

I decided to try weMail for my blog's newsletter, specifically looking for an alternative to Mailchimp. I opted for their annual plan, which included the A/B Testing Tool and List Segmentation features. The ordering process on their website was clear, and I received my purchase confirmation and license key almost instantly. Integrating the plugin into my WordPress site was simple, just like any other plugin installation. I used the Drag and Drop Email Editor to create my first newsletter, and it was quite intuitive. The Email Analytics dashboard gave me good insights into my campaign performance. I did notice that some of the advanced documentation on their site was a little scattered, making it tough to find specific answers sometimes, but the core features work as advertised. I'm especially happy with the Amazon SES Integration; it keeps my sending costs low. Delivery of the service itself was digital and immediate, as expected. This seems like a strong contender for anyone needing a robust email marketing solution within WordPress.

Easy setup

Just got the WordPress Email Marketing Plugin. It was pretty easy to get it set up on my site. Everything worked fine, no big deal. Liked the custom templates too.

Good value, minor snag

I recently bought the Email Automation feature for my main site. The setup was pretty straightforward, and the integration with WooCommerce worked well for my abandoned cart emails. Value-wise, it's really competitive compared to other solutions I've looked at. My only small issue was that customer support took about a day to respond to a question I had about advanced segmentation, but they did provide a helpful answer once they got back to me. Overall, a positive experience and I'm happy with the purchase.

Thinking of upgrading my weMail plan to get access to the A/B testing features. Does anyone have experience with their A/B testing tool? Is it easy to set up and interpret results?

P PoojaR 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I've been using it for a few months for subject lines and CTA buttons. It's fairly straightforward to set up, you just define your variations and the split percentage. Interpreting results is also clear, they show conversion rates and statistical significance.

G gamerraj 1 month ago
Good to know. I've had issues with other tools being clunky.

P PoojaR 1 month ago
Not in my experience. It runs smoothly.

Nice, that's what I was hoping for. Any issues with it being slow or buggy?

C coolboy88 1 month ago
I tried it once for a landing page link, but I think I messed up the setup because the results were weird. Probably user error, though.

Did you reach out to support? They're usually pretty helpful.
7
C coolboy88 1 month ago
Nah, I just went with my gut feeling after that. Maybe I should try again.

It's decent. Not as advanced as some standalone tools, but for a WordPress plugin, it does the job well. I mainly use it for testing different email body content variations.

Are the reports detailed enough for you?

Yeah, they cover the basics: open rates, click rates, and conversions for each variant.

Thinking of moving my newsletter from Mailchimp to weMail. My main concern is deliverability and how easy it is to set up automations. Anyone made this switch?

G Gaurav 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
I moved last year and haven't looked back. Deliverability is solid, especially if you integrate with Amazon SES or Mailgun. Automations are pretty intuitive with their visual builder, much easier than Mailchimp's sometimes clunky interface.
6
A AnilK 2 weeks ago
Did you notice any dip in open rates initially?
8
N NikhilS 2 weeks ago
SES integration is a big plus for deliverability, I agree.
8
R Ravi 2 weeks ago
I'm still on the free plan, so no automations for me yet. But for basic newsletters, it's been pretty good. Integrates nicely with Elementor too.

Does the free plan support WooCommerce integrations?
8
S Swati 2 weeks ago
Following. Curious about the automation side of things too.

Deliverability can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on your SMTP provider. I'm using SparkPost and it's been okay, but had some issues with Gmail promotions tab at first. The automation setup is straightforward though.

A AnilK 2 weeks ago
That's what worries me, the Gmail tab. Any tips to avoid it?
4
G gamerraj 2 weeks ago
Not sure, sometimes it's just how Gmail filters things. Could be content related.

does weMail have a free plan? i just wanna try it out without committing.

R Ryan Brooks 2 months ago
Yeah, they do have a free plan. It's got some limits on subscribers but enough to get a feel for it.

M Mike M. 2 months ago
Yep, there's a free tier. It's pretty generous for testing things out before you decide to upgrade to a paid plan.

Can weMail handle email sending on its own or do I need another service for that?

L Lisa Romero 1 month ago
You'll need a separate SMTP service. It integrates with a bunch of them like Amazon SES or Mailgun, which is actually a good thing for deliverability.
5
S Shane P. 1 month ago
Nah, it just hooks into other sending services. It's not like a full-blown email provider itself. Works fine though, just connect your SendGrid or whatever you use.

I'm thinking about switching from Mailchimp to weMail. Is it really that much better, especially for WordPress users?

A Anna Nguyen 2 months ago
For WordPress, yeah, it's pretty solid. Integrates way better than Mailchimp and keeps everything within your site, which is a plus for me. Pricing is usually better too for similar features.
1
I Ivy Foster 2 months ago
Totally depends on your needs. I found it way more streamlined for my WP site than Mailchimp ever was. Mailchimp felt clunky after a while. weMail is also much easier on the wallet, especially if you have a decent-sized list.

Just got hit with the renewal price for weMail Pro, seems a bit higher than I expected. Anyone else notice this?

P PoojaR 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I switched to the annual plan this time, saved a bit compared to monthly. Might be worth checking if that makes a difference for you.

Good point, I'm on monthly right now. Need to compare the yearly cost.

Yeah, mine jumped up too. I think their initial discount period ended for me. Was hoping for a renewal discount but didn't see one automatically applied.

Mine renewed last month and it was the same as last year, but I signed up during a Black Friday deal. Maybe that's why?

Just moved my newsletter over to weMail from Mailchimp. The drag and drop editor is pretty intuitive, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle my existing segmentations. Anyone have tips for importing complex lists without messing everything up?

R Rahul87 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Welcome to weMail! I did a similar migration a few months back. For complex segments, I found it easiest to export each segment from Mailchimp as a separate CSV, then import them one by one into weMail, applying the relevant tags during import. It's a bit tedious but ensures accuracy.
8
P PriyaK 1 month ago
That's a smart approach. I was thinking of trying to combine them, but this sounds safer.
5
T techfreak 1 month ago
Yeah, trying to map complex custom fields directly can be a headache sometimes.
3
D Deepak91 1 month ago
I just imported everything as one big list and then used weMail's segmentation tools to recreate my groups. It worked okay, but if your Mailchimp segments were super detailed, Rahul's method might be better.
10
P PriyaK 1 month ago
How was the cleanup after that? Any duplicate issues?
3
D Deepak91 1 month ago
Not really, weMail's pretty good with duplicates on import.
3
S Sneha22 1 month ago
I haven't migrated from Mailchimp specifically, but for any import, I always do a small test batch first to see how the data maps. Saves a lot of grief later.

A AmitM 1 month ago
Following this, might be doing a switch soon myself.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows if there's an active lifetime deal for weMail right now? Saw something about it before but can't find it.

F Faith 2 months ago
I think they do those sometimes, especially with AppSumo. Haven't seen one recently though, might just be annuals or specific sales.
2
N Nick P. 2 months ago
Nah, not currently. They had one a while back, but those come and go. Keep an eye out during Black Friday or if they do another AppSumo launch, that's when they usually pop up.
